Prior to the completion of the order (page entitled “PREVIEW”), namely prior to its confirmation, the USER may cancel (by selecting the icon “CANCELLATION OF ORDER”) or vary the product or the quantity selected (by selecting the icon “RETURN TO PURCHASE BASKET”) or confirm his/her order and to proceed to the information for dispatch and charging (by selecting the icon “NEXT STEP”).

All orders that are accepted by CAROUZOS are subject to the product’s availability. CAROUZOS offers products for sale that are available for dispatch from its distribution centre.

The USER, after having selected the products that s/he desires and the delivery location for his/her “PURCHASE BASKET”, will dispatch the order by following the relevant icons on the web page. Thereafter, by selecting the icon “CONFIRM TO PROCEED”, the USER’s order will be dispatched to CAROUZOS to the “CONFIRMATION and PAYMENT” page, further to the choice of payment.
CAROUZOS informs the USER about his/her order number. Thereafter, the USER will be informed by CAROUZOS by e-mail, as soon as possible, to confirm that his/her order has been received and completes. The said e-mail means that the USER’s order has been accepted and that CAROUZOS has proceeded to charge his/her credit or debit card, after having firstly checked its information (in the event where the payment will be settled in that manner).
In the event where CAROUZOS proceeds to charging the USER’s card and finds material errors in the order, it reserves the right to return the money to the USER’s card and to cancel the order.
CAROUZOS also reserves the right to refuse the order, if it does not manage to gain access to payment authorisation, for example, where there are restrictions to the transportation of a specific item, where the product is unavailable or it does not meet the quality control standards and is withdrawn, or where the USER does not fulfil the suitability criteria specified above.

The payments are made by cards Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard or Maestro cards, COD (only for deliveries within Greece payment at the moment of receipt of product, paymentupon delivery) and by deposit into a bank account (only for deliveries within Greece). The payment will be charged and received from the USER’s account as soon as CAROUZOS receives the USER’s order and further to the examination of the USER’s information.
All credit and debit card holders are subject to validity and authorisation examinations by the institution that has issued the card. Where the institution that has issued the USER’s card refuses to provide the authorisation for payment to CAROUZOS, then the latter will not be considered to be responsible for any delay or non delivery. CAROUZOS makes every reasonable effort to make the web page as much secure as possible.
All the transactions via credit card on this web page will be performed with the use of the VERISIGN payment and the EMPORIKI TRAPEZA (COMMERCIAL BANK) technology, which encrypts the information on the USER’s card in a safe central computer environment.

In the event where the USER decides to settle the account for his/her order at one of the following Bank accounts PEIRAIUS BANK (5044-009519-985), ALPHA BANK (123-00-2320-000658), NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE (168/470189-55), EUROBANK (0026.0046.30.0200096400), EMPORIKI BANK (002/82518070), with which CAROUZOS associates, s/he must dispatch a copy of the bank payment order by fax to 00302102502529. In every case, the confirmation of the USER’s order will be dispatched by e-mail upon confirmation by CAROUZOS of the relevant deposit. The dispatch of the USER’s products will only commence after the dispatch of the said e-mail.

CAROUZOS insures every purchase throughout its transportation and until its delivery to the USER. The liability shall rest with the USER from the moment that the USER signs for the receipt of the products that s/he has purchased.

CAROUZOS is obligated to deliver the products, to the address provided by the USER, within four (4) working days from the completion of the order (dispatch of confirmation e-mail), in accordance with the above. More specifically, the said deadline will commence at 16:00 (Greek time), on the date following the working date from the completion of the order (in respect of Greece), and expires on the fourth working (in the country of destination) day.
In the event where the USER desires that the products are dispatched in a shorter period there shall be a further charge, as analytically specified in the web page.
All of the potential expenses for the delivery shall be clearly recorded in the order and will include insurance. CAROUZOS will inform the USER by e-mail about any delays to his/her order and wherever it is possible, it will have the capacity for partial dispatch.
CAROUZOS will not have any liability for packages lost because they were dispatched to a wrong or incomplete address, which is not due to its negligence.

The aim of CAROUZOS is to guarantee the USER’s complete satisfaction. Where for any reason, the USER is not satisfied with his/her order then s/he may exercise his/her right to return the products purchased within fifteen (15) working days, from the date of the product’s receipt, by initially completing the cooling-off document that is attached to the “RETURN” icon and to dispatch it signed to CAROUZOS, by e-mail (to returns@carouzos.com) or by FAX (0030210-2502529). The USER also has the capacity to attend at any of the stores in our Network to return the product.
All of the expenses for the dispatch of the returned products shall be at the expense of CAROUZOS, as long as the said returns are made by the courier companies SPEEDEX (in relation to dispatches within Greece), and UPS (in relation to dispatches to countries within the European Union, excluding Greece).
In order to complete the return, the USER must:
a) Complete the electronic form in the “RETURN” section or the form dispatched with the product of his/her order; and
b) Consult with the courier company that will receive the product. The USER may return the products, without paying for the dispatch expenses, by using the courier companies with which CAROUZOS associates, SPEEDEX (in relation to dispatches within Greece), and UPS (in relation to dispatches to countries within the European Union, excluding Greece), or via another courier company at his/her choice and expense.
It is preferred that the merchandise is returned through the courier companies SPEEDEX (in relation to dispatches within Greece), and UPS (in relation to dispatches to countries within the European Union, excluding Greece), in order that the said merchandise is protected and insured during its transportation. In this regard, the USER may return the products in any safe manner. CAROUZOS does not guarantee the security or the insurance of products that are returned via other courier companies, excluding the courier companies SPEEDEX (in relation to dispatches within Greece), and UPS (in relation to dispatches to countries within the European Union, excluding Greece), and may potentially not assume liability for the specific products.

d) Upon the receipt and completion of the USER’s products, CAROUZOS is obligated to inform the USER by e-mail or any other method expressly requested by the USER.

The USER is obligated to complete and dispatch the electronic or printed Returns Form to CAROUZOS, within fifteen (15) working days from the date that s/he received the product.
The products must not be used, worn, washed, altered or have suffered damage and the identification card together with all the existing designer’s labels must be attached to the product, together with all of the documents that accompanied them (e.g. Dispatch Order, Retail Sales Receipt, Bill of Lading, etc). All products that are sold by CAROUZOS are accompanied by a disposable identification card. The USER is obligated to try the products purchased without removing the card; alternatively the product will be considered to not be in the same condition as delivered and will not be accepted.
The products must in every case be returned complete and unused in their original packaging. Where belts and packaging by the designer is provided, as well as authenticity cards, protective cases, leather labels, designer cases and jewellery boxes, these must also be returned, since they are considered to be a part of the product. The return may potentially not be accepted where the returned cases for the products have suffered damage.
Single piece swimsuits and the lower section of a bikini must be tried-on over underwear, without the removal of the protective self-adhesive tape. For hygiene reasons, where this tape has been removed or where the items have been soiled (have become dirty), then their return will not be accepted and the products will be returned to the customer.
Where more than one item is returned from the same order, then the said items must be simultaneously dispatched together.
Where all of the above conditions are fulfilled, CAROUZOS will then return the entire amount to the USER for purchased products that are returned, excluding the dispatch expenses, where the USER has chosen another delivery company excluding the SPEEDEX or UPS courier companies. In the event that the returned products are not accepted, then the USER will be immediately notified by CAROUZOS.

All complaints will be dealt with in good faith. The products are defined as defective where they have suffered damage during their delivery or where they have exhibited a manufacturing defect within one (1) month from the purchase date. The USER must bear in mind that products that suffer damage due to wear and tear will not be considered to be defective. All products that evidently have a manufacturing defect will be replaced or immediately compensated. Nevertheless, CAROUZOS reserves the right, in the event of disputed complaints, to return the products to the manufacturer for examination, in order to clarify whether the complaint is genuine. CAROUZOS will inform the USER in relation to the progress of his/her complaint. Where the USER desires to change a defective product, s/he must bear in mind that CAROUZOS may only replace with the same product in the same size, according to its availability. Where it is possible, CAROUZOS will proceed to the repair of the defective product.

As soon as CAROUZOS receives the products and examines whether they fulfil the conditions for return, the USER will then receive an e-mail advising whether the products have been accepted. The value of the products will be credited to the credit card of the initial purchaser or to the USER’s account, and the refund procedure will be completed within thirty (30) days after the USER has returned the purchased product and CAROUZOS has examined that the return has been completed in accordance with the above conditions.

At the request of CAROUZOS, the USER agrees to absolutely defend, compensate and protect CAROUZOS, its executives, managers, representatives, companies associated with it, its beneficiaries and suppliers immediately upon request against every liability, claim, expense, damage and loss, inclusive of the legal expenses, that may arise due to the violation on the USER’s part of these Terms & Conditions, through the use of this web page or by the use of other persons that acquire access to this web page by using its account on the Internet. CAROUZOS also reserves the right, at its own expense, to undertake the exclusive defence and control of every case that is regularly subject to remedy (compensation) on the USER’s part in accordance with the provisions herein.

There are two (2) codes that are used that for the USER’s recognition: the Entry Code (username) and the Secret Personal Security Code (Password), which on every occasion that these are entered by the USER, provide access to him/her with absolute security to his/her personal information. The only person with access to the USER’s information is only the USER and no one else, through the above codes and s/he is exclusively responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and concealment from third parties. In the event of the loss or leakage of the Secret Security Code (password) the USER is obligated to immediately notify CAROUZOS by email at helpdesk@carouzos.com, otherwise its e-store will not be liable for the use of the Secret Code by an unauthorized person. It suggested that the USER, for reasons of security, should regularly change the password and avoid the use of the same and easily recognisable codes (e.g. birth date).
CAROUZOS uses the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) - 128bit cryptographic protocol in order to ensure the confidentiality of the data transfer.
Access to the CAROUZOS (servers) systems is controlled by a firewall.
CAROUZOS uses the SSL protocol, with 128bit cryptography, for secure on-line commercial transactions. In this manner the entire USER’s personal information, inclusive of the credit card number, his/her name and address, are encrypted so that they cannot be read or changed during their transmission on the Internet.
The SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol is currently a universal standard on the Internet for the certification of web sites, when they are used by Internet users, for the cryptography of information between Internet users and web servers. A crypto-graphed SSL communication requires that the entire information that is transmitted between a customer and a server is encrypted by the dispatching software and un-encrypted by the receiving software, which accordingly protects personal information during its transmission.
